Be a Rural Scholar and support The School in 2026. . . and get a new print.
Give a gift of $200 or more and we will send you this limited edition linocut, “Windswept.”
Our 2025 Rural Scholars helped us achieve our goal of heating the building. We installed electric HVAC units in the library and sewing studio and purchased a wood burning Central Boiler furnace to heat the gym and hallway using free local fuel. Installation of the furnace is underway. We have already expanded our library hours this winter and are excited to spread the warmth to the rest of the building (and to all our visitors).
Projects on the horizon include new storm windows to secure the building’s envelope and protect the original paned windows, lighting improvements and furnishings for the library, ceiling fans and new lights for the gymnasium, and support for additional programming. A big thank you to all of our Rural Scholars last year. We couldn't do this work without you.
